Scope
This notice explains how FBR Holding Company’s FBR Backup service uses its connected Google Drive account. It supplements the corporate website policy covering browsing, contact and recruitment data.
Authorization and permissions
An authorized administrator connects a Google account through Google’s consent screen. The current configuration requests Google Drive access that permits viewing, creating, modifying and deleting files in the authorized account. The operational purpose is backup management, verification and restoration. The account should be dedicated to backups according to its owner’s configuration.
Files and data
Processing covers the backup files specified by each project, their names, sizes, timestamps and the verification information needed to manage them. Backups may contain operational or user data belonging to the source project. That project’s policy describes the categories of data and the purposes of processing.
Access and retention
Each project’s configuration determines backup scope, encryption, retention and restoration. Operational access is restricted to authorized administrators. OAuth credentials operate the connection; connecting the service does not require providing the application with the Google account password.
Disconnection and deletion
The account owner can revoke authorization in their Google account security settings. Revocation stops service operations that depend on that connection; it does not itself request deletion of existing files. Deleting backups or changing their retention requires a separate action under the project’s approved policy.
